SUMMARY:MacPhail Presents: The Calamansi Quartet
DESCRIPTION:Experience the energy and intimacy of chamber music with the Calamansi Quartet\, Madeline Island Chamber Music’s 2026 Emerging Artists Quartet-in-Residence. Presented at MacPhail in collaboration with Madeline Island Chamber Music\, this emerging ensemble is known for bold\, expressive performances and a shared love of the intimacy and intensity of chamber music.  \n\n\n\nThe Calamansi Quartet performs two works from the heart of the chamber music repertoire: Mendelssohn’s vibrant String Quartet in E-flat Major\, Op. 12 and Dvořák’s lyrical and spirited String Quartet in G Major\, Op. 106. Together\, the works offer an evening of rich melodies\, dynamic interplay\, and the remarkable conversation that can happen between four musicians.
