New for 2026!

Expanded opportunities for young artists with a flexible new format: a full 6-week session or two 3-week options with the Strings Program now spanning six weeks, and the Piano Program spanning three weeks.

Madeline Island Chamber Music fellowships recognize and support exceptional young artists poised for a professional career in chamber music. These fully-funded awards give outstanding string and piano students the chance to study, perform, and collaborate at the highest level, surrounded by world-class faculty and ensembles-in-residence.

Fellows are immersed in the full musical life of the festival—performing in high-profile concerts, engaging in community outreach, and receiving intensive, individualized mentoring that refines their artistry and deepens their understanding of chamber music as a collaborative art form.
