Eunae Koh

Violinist Eunae Koh is an active member of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra (SPCO), where she regularly performs as a featured soloist and Creative Lead. As an educator, she served as Assistant Professor of Violin at Chapman University, where she developed a unique pedagogy curriculum, taught undergraduate violin students, and co-directed the chamber music program. During the summers, Eunae serves as faculty at the Yellow Barn Music Festival’s Young Artists Program.

Beyond her work with the SPCO, Eunae has appeared as soloist with orchestras including the Auckland Philharmonia, Korean Chamber Orchestra, Seoul Symphony Orchestra, and New England Symphony Orchestra. She has also led from the concertmaster chair of the Hwaum Boston Chamber Orchestra, New York Classical Players, and Symphony in C. Her performances have taken her to Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and stages across Germany,J apan, Korea, and New Zealand.

Originally from South Korea, Eunae made her concerto debut at age 9 and quickly gained recognition through numerous national competition wins. A recipient of the Special Prize at the 2011 Isang Yun International Competition, she later won Second Prize and the Chamber Music Prize at the Michael Hill International Competition, where her performance of the Brahms Concerto was acclaimed for its “beauty, bending the world to its will.”

She holds a DMA from the Manhattan School of Music, an MM from the New England Conservatory, and a BM from Seoul National University, where she was a teaching assistant to Donald Weilerstein and Young Uck Kim.
